2.22

Three days. Three days until our own personal world of Shakespeare comes to life.  Tomorrow starts dress rehearsals, which takes everything technical we've done in the last three days and add costumes too it. This adds a whole new element to the show because not only does it change the actors attitudes, but it also gives the designers a better look at how the costumes look with their work. This is where we see how the costumes look against the set and how they look under the lights.  This is one of the best parts of the process. Everything slowly starts coming together and it's truly a magical experience, especially as a designer because you get to see what you did on paper come to life physically on stage. 

It's moments like these that make you sit back and realize that you really are doing what you want to  be doing for the rest of your life, and slowly but surely your dreams are becoming reality.
